I have google voice... you can port a number or get a new one, it has voicemail, rings one or more other phone numbers when you get a call. And its free. I had to lease a building and I made a big for lease sign out of a sheet of plywood but did not want to put my cell # on it, so my sister hooked me up with a Google #. It worked okay to poor, it would ring to my phone no problems but some times had a weird feedback impediment, and it had a voice mail feature that was very sketchy partly because there was a lot of English as a second language inquiries. But it was free so I loved it. I suppose I still have the number? The free part is the best. I use it when I dont want to give out my actual cell. It can ring my cell phone and/or home phone, and different phones at different times (ring both M-F during day hours, ring to cell other times, other times go right to voicemail.) I havent had quality issues but I suppose it could happen. Plus you can get a speech-to-text translation of your voicemails sent to you as a text message or email, while leads to much hilarity as the transcriptions are usually way off.
