Serious question....why did you leave the scene? You could have been royally screwed. I'm guessing he was ossified and looking for a late night snack. Cops probably thought he was a nice kid who did a dumb thing and gave him a pass on the DWI.

My college-aged son had gotten more than one late night phone call looking for him to drive someone home, and he often didnt drive to whatever party they were hitting... so I think kids are looking at this issue in a more responsible manner than we did..either that or I'm fooling myself!
