i have a few comments and observations. my first comment is what ever happened to the i the grasp rule? brady was being pressured all afternoon. many time he would be wrapped up by a defender and would limply toss the ball. sometimes it looked like there might have been a patsie player. shouldn't many of those been called as in the grasp or intentional grounding? seems like the refs gave the patsies some serious breaks on their last scoring drive and had goskowski not missed the extra point the game would've gone into overtime.
the bellichicken was dead wrong in going for the 4th and 1 with 6 minutes left. yeah i know all those talking heads at espn are all nodding their collective stupidity at the bellichicken but the simple fact is the fg would've put them 5 points down and as subsequent play showed, they scored a td. they would've won. bowles did the same thing early in the season and as the game turned out, the 3 non attempted fgs would've won the game. now i know all about cause and effect and you can't blame the game on gostkowski's failed extra point, yada, yada, yada, but the game is all about scoring points and with 6 minutes left there was every reason to believe (especially the way the denver offense was playing) that they would get the ball back. and even if the denver defense was playing well against brady it didn't take him long to hit gronkowski for a long gain and ultimately score a td.
don't get me wrong, the patsies deserved to be beaten but it's not like denver is such a world beater.

Yes they did score but if wasn't like is was from the from the 20. They didn't have a single REAL long drive all day. I don't think BB felt they could go 80 yards or so. You had a chance in front of you. As is was it 2 Gronk miracle catches to score. All hindsight anyway.

I too thought they should have taken the 3 at that point.
The biggest surprise to me, of the day, was how little Edelman seemed to be targeted or even part of the gameplan.

You finally get it right with pass protection, that was the game. And I suggest you look at the Gronk, touchdown catch. Those kinds of plays are very rare. Receivers were not getting open and the O line was horrible, not a good sign if you are hoping for another long drive. But as the very astute Bing says.....woodacoodashooda.

I thought the 2 point play was a terrible call. It should have been a quick hitch (maybe with a pick) to Edelman so he could try and run it in. He was a slippery bastard all game long.
