Will be interested to see what the details are. If Cleveland doesn't like Goff and we do, maybe we will try to go up again.

The problem is that the new Titans GM is a Patriots guy. I don't think he would make that kind of trade with the Jets unless we were the only team offering anything.

Yeah, Tony's always been in the know with this stuff, doubt he would throw out something this big without something to back it up. And you know it would've been for Wentz/Goff. No one even fucking mention Tunsil to me.

Sources close to the situation tell me the New York Jets made a serious offer to the Tennessee Titans for the initial pick of the draft. Those with knowledge of the situation tell me the team was close to getting the deal done. I’m told it is believed veteran defensive lineman Muhammad Wilkerson was part of the deal. And while many in the New York area dismissed my initial report earlier this week over the New York Jets being dark horses for trading to the top of the draft, it was revealed within 24 hours of the report that Jared Goff would be making an official visit to the franchise. Goff won’t be make it past the fourth pick of the draft. Will the Jets continue to attempt to move up into the early reaches of round one? Sources tell me they believe so but much depends on who the Los Angeles Rams ultimately select with the first pick in two weeks time.

Supposedly the Jets still want Goff if the Rams take Wentz #1.

Not for nothing but Pauline isn't really giving much insight if that's all he has. Of course Mo would've been included in the deal and if the Titans were in play for Mo then they probably still are after getting all of those extra picks. The Brown will not take on Mo and then pay him. So the Jets would have to move him to acquire picks and then use those picks, along with their own, to move up to #2.

This truly is fantastic news though!
Mac has the Balls to go get a franchise QB but won't sell his soul for one....
It would have cost a pretty penny any way you slice it to move from 20 to 1 but the Rams blew their wad IMO....

If Mac gets his man anyways due to LOLRams reactionary splash BS response to smokescreens that will be something truly special. We will know after. Bring it Rams. LA is an asshole of Cali. They r prob still sitting in gridlock traffic.

At least the Jets tried to fix the QB situation here I said this before the Jets fell a QB short of making the playoffs last year. They saw the same thing I saw Fitz throwing 3 picks a pissing the season down the drain.

Dallas & Jax both need DL. Could be trade partners. Jax has cap room. If SF keeps Kap they also need DL & have plenty of cap space.
