The Jets trade their 2nd round pick #51 & 3rd round pick #83 to Tennessee for their 2nd round pick #33 .
ROUND #2 . With the trade up the Jets select NOAH SPENCE / OLB / E.KENTUCKY (OHIO.ST) Even with the selection of Darron Lee the Jets still need another starting OLB opposite of Maulden. Lee will play more inside linebacker according to coach Bowles. Spence would have been a top 10 pick if not for his off the field issues. With the addition of Lee and Spence the Jets defense gets alot faster and will be a nightmare for opposing offenses for years to come. This is a gamble worth taking in my opinion. Trade a mid-late 3rd round pick for a kid who should have been a top 10 pick at position of need.
ROUND #4. KYLE MURPHY / OT / STANFORD. Big kid at 6'7 300lbs. Quick ,tough and durable . Might have to be a right tackle to start but has the long arms and feet you look for in a left tackle.
ROUND #7A. DREW KASER / P / TEXAS A&M. The Jets don't mess around and take the best punter in the draft. Lets hope he is the end of our punting issues. He also is a fantastic holder for PATs and field goals.
ROUND 7B. Best available player at this point but I will take a shot . ANTWAN WOODS / NG / USC. The search for Snacks replacement goes on. Steve McLendon is a stop gap at Nose Guard and Deon Simon is an unknown. Woods is a short, stubby monster who is not easily moved. Need to keep the Oline off of undersized Darron Lee.

id puke if we made that trade go away Well? Who do you want in rounds 2 & 3? I think this kid can make a bigger impact than any two players we could pick.

Not a pick that gets people excited, but I like the idea about getting Drew Kaiser, Texas A&M punter and putting the Jets punting problems in the rear view mirror.

Mo didn't sign his tender. Mac already said he doesn't envision a Mo trade during the draft.

But some sneak into round 5. I took Kaser in the 7th.
