Jets exercise $8M fifth year option on Sheldon Richardson and choose not to exercise 5th year $11.9M option on Dee Millner

Obviously a great price tag on Sheldon and no one in their right mind is paying $12M for Millner

always feel bad for the kids that don't make, mainly if it's not their fault. milliner has some good talent but he is way too fragile. the achilles is about the worst injury to get and then couple that with breaking his wrist ans it gets real old real fast. we can hope that richardson will stick around for a long time. maybe yes but he will be looking for a huge payday in a couple of seasons. at least for now the jets have a very set and talented dline. it will nice to make hay while the sun shines.

I wonder if Milliner is in jeopardy of not even making the team this year. Same for McDougle. They dont even help on STs.

They'll keep him even if it's as the 5th/6th CB on the roster. McDougle I could definitely see being cut with guys like Juston Burris and Darryl Morris being brought in. |
