From the moment I heard he was introducing Trump at a rally in Ohio I knew this would eventually become a thing.
I thought Nick's answer was perfect. Just because you like someone doesn't mean you agree with them 100%. How many people agree with their spouses 100%? Let alone some politician that changes their mind on daily basis.
Journalism is dead. These troll reporters always try to stir up some controversy.
But in fairness, Nick opened the door for this questioning.

An article like this on a real paper would say OPINION in big letters on the top. I guess the Star Ledger has moved to "rag" quality. Why is it everyone says he wants to "ban Muslims" when what he said is we shouldn't allow Muslims or possibly anyone in until we get our screening process fixed. Is that really so unreasonable? As for Mo understanding hopefully he understands Mangold's declaration of not agreeing 100% with anyone as opposed to this race-baiting, vitriolic ass wipe.

These leftist pansies have had their day. They see their grip slipping with Trump winning the election. People are tired of the real outrage toward outrageous stories.

I support Bernie. just not his policies. All the woman voting for Hillary support serial philandery. This game is fun.

I wish there was a way, if he wins, to hold every libtard that said they are going to leave the country to their words. For every moron that leaves we can take in one refugee.

I love it when people say it as though anyone would care if they left. I also enjoyed his response to Lena Dunham and Rosie O'Donnell saying they will leave.

No it's not journalism, it's an opinion piece. You know that by the presence of the byline and contact information for the author at the top of the page. And how is Mo supposed to know Mangold does not support the Muslim ban if he did not refute it? And if by broken screening process you mean that it takes longer than two years and should be faster than yes it's broken

No by broken he means that we dont even look at facebook accounts.
How is anybody supposed to know anything? How are we supposed to know that the "hands up" players on the Rams don't support violence and the destruction of property? Mind you those are things that actually happened as opposed to something someone said.
Slippery slopes and all. We can go around in circles all day with this stuff.

But hey, Trump says the Muslim Mayor of London can visit.
See, Donald can tell the good ones from the bad.

I think what's been proven ably (wrt Trump) is that if your average person can't find someone respectable to take their concerns seriously, they'll find someone "disrespectable". That's essentially the dynamic with Bernie and Trump. And "mainstream" politicians are puzzled that actual people have down-to-earth, reasonable concerns - while your average back-slapping pol spend their days and efforts on esoterica and debating, essentially, how many angles fit on the head of a pin.
