Never had a built-in so I cant speak from experience but the brands you mentioned are all pretty much top-of-the-line. I believe Viking also makes outdoor grills. Might want to check those out as well. Living in AZ I don't think you will have to worry about the elements decreasing the life of your grill but I would suggest going with something that is made entirely of 304 stainless steel. Yes, that's one thing I've been told is to go with the 304 SS. Ha. I have a peasant Weber as well for charcoal BBQing. I love it and I've resisted the urge to go to a Big Green Egg. I wouldn't be replacing my drop-in propane grill if I didn't have to, but it's on its last legs. This is one of those, buy cheap and replace it in 3 years or get a good one that will last decisions. I'm leaning towards the latter....for once.

Wait, does the OP want financial help buying a new grill? Is that what he's really asking? Need to set up a go find me page? I think I'm okay....but donations gladly accepted. I'll set up a go fund me page right after I set your go fuck you page!

Summer homes, drop in grills...buncha 1 percenters! To be fair, when I get my shiny new stainless steel grill with 1.21 jiggawatts of cooking awesomeness I'm going to take my old, beaten up, rusted grill with the broken starter down the block and dump it on the lawn of the first house I see with a Bernie Sanders sign. I'll be sure to run away yelling, "There's your free college!!!!"

BGE has the name recognition but I went with the Kamado Joe and couldnt be any happier. They also got a great Youtube channel that is very informative. www.youtube.com/channel/UCrUNok4R7jql2FTie7-26bwThe ribs, butts, briskets and pizzas you can make on these ceramic cookers are just amazing.

Thanks. Yes, I'm familiar with the Komodo Joe. In fact, Tailgate Joe, who I think still posts here sometimes, gave me some good grill advice on a charcoal/wood setup about a year or two ago. I went with the Weber Kettle at that time to kind of hold me over.
