After watching many of yesterday's games there is not one team that the Jets shouldn't be able to beat. If they are the real deal (and I hope they are), then they definitely beat the Chiefs on Sunday. We'll see.

This offense has got an attitude. Did you hear them hollering just before 22 ran it right up the gut untouched for the touchdown? Every time in the first 2 games the Jets needed a touchdown they drove the length of the field and scored. I thought I was watching Air Coryell and the Chargers in the late 70's. Watching The Famous Jets take apart that clowns defense up in Buffalo was a whole lot of fun. The only team that can beat the Jets is the Jets. The defense is going to be just fine.

Pretty sure part of Kansas City is in Kansas. Wrap your head around that. Kansas City is in Kansas and Missouri. Kind of like Washington D.C. is in Virigina and Maryland and Cincinnati's Airport is in Kentucky.. And the New York Jets are in New Jersey?

This is as futile an argument as who does/has the best BBQ Fittingly, Jacks Stack in Kansas City for me! I'm debating Jacks Stack, Joes and Arthur Bryant's right now.

Enough with the geography lessons. Anybody planning to go to KC next week? I'll be there.

Yup. I saw you were looking for tailgate options in the thread on JN. Did you ever figure something out? No luck yet. Green Bay was great because of all the parties that surround the stadium. Hopefully, KC is similar.

Try this link -- it is to the main page for a facebook site for The Jets Fans/Green Mile. www.facebook.com/groups/nyjetsfans/The Green Mile is what he calls his away game tailgates. I know he is trying to organize something Sunday for Jet fans travelling in to KC. You will have to join the page, but the guy who runs it is usually pretty good about responding to the requests. Go to the events page and you will see details on the KC trip & tailgate. The same guy runs the network of Jets away bars -- they have a bar in Chicago that I go to all the time for the games. I have never been to one of the tailgates. If it still doesn't work, send me a PM with your name and email address and I can send a note to Roger asking him to add you to the group.

The biggest thing the Jets seem to having going for them this year is Balance. They're very good on Offense, Defense and now it seems Special Teams as well. They don't have that one super elite player like an Antonio Brown or a Cam Newton, but they've got a very good mix of above average players. I think I'd take that over having just one elite phase of the game like a New Orleans who can put up 40 points and still lose by a TD.
One of the unsung heroes in that Buffalo game was Lac Edwards who was consistently pinning the Bills pretty deep with low return yardage. It was like last night in the Pats game. I could argue the entire game was won with ST. The Pats punter forced fair catches almost every time around the 10 yard line. Then they had those two fumbles on KOs that lead to 2 TDs. I think Jalin Marshall is shaping up to be a good returner, Edwards looks like a longterm solution at Punter, and we just need Nick Folk to hold it together.

Jalin Marshall's ball security still scares the shit out of me. He fumbled once in the preseason and I think (not certain) that he also muffed a punt. Fumbled another one last week. Jets really seem to like him and he has upside, but he has to figure out how to take care of the ball before I will be comfortable seeing him out there. Nothing turns a game much more quickly than a ST turnover.

And I love how he bounced back from that fumble. Agree that he made some plays after losing the fumble in Buffalo, but I just hope that he does not have many more fumbles to bounce back from.
