While the QB and secondary are being justifiably roasted for their play, Mo Wilkerson, after being resigned to a big extension this offseason, is currently on pace for 6 sacks this season. If the Jets are going to have any type of success this year, Wilkerson needs to start contributing more big plays.

We could sign other players for much less if their role is going to be to contain the QB. For the money Wilk is getting, he needs to produce impact plays.

I think we had this fight before we re-signed him. Those in the trade camp used your argument and those in the sign camp used Rangers. I don't understand why people were expecting more from him. The guy is a very good player that got overpaid. He's here, he's a Jet, I'll root for him.

We are grasping at straws at this point around here huh? It's hard for a guy to sacks when the QBs are dinking and dunking all day they are taking the dline out of the game with short passes the linebackers and secondary need to start making open field tackles

I'm not expecting him to play like JJ Watt, but I think its reasonable to expect him to play like the 2015 version of Mo.

He might want to consider switching to lite beer and loose the gut. I don't see a beer gut on JJ Watt or any other quality pass rusher in the NFL.

I'm just really mad about the under performing defense. Now Mevis is limping around on the eve of playing the Steelers.
