okay, the jets won. as a matter of fact they won better than the score suggests. the edwards punt miscue was certainly a bad way to start the game but geno hitting enunwa and then the defense finally getting some picks and sacks was great to see. it's been a long time coming. but what the f**k. in the middle of the fourth the jets had the ball. a couple of first downs at that point would have done wonders about sealing the game yet twice they went 3 and out. and both times they tried running way more than passing. now i get the whole part about playing it safe but as the final ravens play showed they were that close to a possible tie game and overtime if williams doesn't break up that pass. and this isn't the first jets game where they are content to sit on a rare lead as opposed to pushing the points up. it's tough to watch.
richardson had a great game. the new guy stanford played pretty well too. geno showed that he can make better throws than fitz but both qb's took too many sacks. this was mainly on the oline. fitz can't throw under pressure. forte got his hundred but it was some pretty quiet running. he just doesn't get many holes up the middle or on the left side.
let's hope they roll over cleveland.

Exactly, playing not to lose. I fully expected a pass interference with the ball on the 1 yard line, then converting on the 2 pt conversion after the TD. That's on the coach, but it was apparent that Fitz was gun shy was playing very conservatively. Sheldon is one of my favorites and I believe he's a superior player to highly paid/often injured Wilkerson.

They won because Baltimore has half its players on IR.
