just caught myself getting a tiny bit pumped for the dolphins game. fuck you jets you evil bastids Nope. Not me. Gotta win 3 more in a row before I start to get excited about this team. 6-5 with a win I've NE us what it will take. Anything less and we are a mediocre team at best that is capable of beating average and bad teams. Right now, I see us as a 6 or 7 win team.

Not me. Not gettin' excited about this team. Fuck'em. I'll watch and root, but I've seen this too many times before and it's not going to happen again.

As infuriating as it can be, watching the Jet game is still the highlight of my Sunday afternoon. I don't quite get as excited or as mad as I once did, but I also don't enjoy watching the 3 Stooges as much as I did when I was younger.

Meh. My newly minted sopne-in-law is running the NYC Marathon on Sunday and we're not going to get to a bar to watch the game till 1:30 at the earliest.
No fucks given.

just caught myself getting a tiny bit pumped for the dolphins game. fuck you jets you evil bastids If I catch myself getting all warm and fuzzled about an upcoming game, I will just think back to the opening drive of last weeks game which I listened to, unblinking and white-knuckled as I drove south on the Sprain parkway. The old "oh this is why chicks dont like cocks shoved up their arses despite what pron says" pain.

Maybe I'm being overly simplistic but if I were the GM I would be looking at trade/contract/draft scenarios to keep the team where it is watchable for the fan base but be moving aggressively to improve it to a playoff caliber, SB contender. I would start with the bloated contracts on the Jets, while getting younger replacements for Vets who still have value. I'd start with getting rid of Nick, Mo, Mevis, Harris to open up cap space. Then throw in some of the underachievers like Skrine and some of the O line slugs. By the way, the Wilkerson contract was a huge mistake for the Jets at this point in time. Then shop bargain basement for Vets to hold the fort until talent is developed, traded for or drafted. I'll close by saying with the talent on the current team, you can't tell me Belecheat, as big as a POS as he is, wouldn't have the Jets at 6 - 2. So a lot of the blame goes on the coaching staff. They're not as visible as players who perform poorly on the field, but they are equally guilty for bad schemes, play calling , preparation and instilling the will to win.
