I am doing my open enrollment for the year. After having the same health insurance costs for the past 3 years my Medical coverage is DECREASING by $40 and Dental and eye are increasing by $1.80. All in all a good deal from my company. At least the Obamacare debacle hasn't leaked over into my company's plans.

My open enrollment should start soon - I'll share the change as soon as I know. It would be interesting if others did the same, get some real world data.

That is just for the health. Once I added the dental and vision and what not I am paying just over 600 twice a month. I gotta get the kids off my plan. I literally would save 750 a month. Did I mention I work for a Hospital network with over 1000 beds and 9000 employees. |

We have gotten 3 raises in the last 5.5 years and no bonus since 2010. People take an ambu ride to the ED with their 5 kids for pink eye. It is dinner time so now we have to feed them and pay for the cab home. If a kid iserequired to have a car seat...you guessed it we have to supply that as well. |

The Ambu and taxi ride is free. 4 kids need a car seat. They get home and sell/pawn the seat for 75 each. Fuckers. All have nice iPhones and sneakers I wish I could afford to buy for my kids. Obamacare is insuring a population who have previously been uninsurable because they are sick. And that costs the insurance company profits. Boo fucking hooo |
