There is no doubt that the guys love Fitz. And if youre a veteran you dont like the idea of declaring the season over and playing the young guys.
I think he has lost the team a little this year. Mangold comes to mind. He has played through a lot of injuries before. Then you have a guy like Wilkerson who all of a sudden are mailing it in.
I dont want to become one of these teams that changes coaches every 2 years but Bowles needs to show us something and he needs to show it soon.

Petty didn't look horrible last week.. I see it as a no-brainer... That's why I'm concerned about Bowles and his decisions...he's gotta keep his pimp hand strong...

It might be true that a number of the players are mailing it in ... not following Bowles. But you've got to consider that the source is the NY Daily News ... the most horse shit paper in New York City.

Thats it right there... if you're Brandon Marshall or other vets playing for contracts, do you like the idea of a rookie QB? Of course not. If you're Mangold, knowing the end of the line is coming at some point, do you play through injuries when the season is essentially done? The vets like Fitz. They know what Fitz is, for better or worse. These guys dont want to gamble on a rookie.

If they were so worried about it, they shouldn't have played like shit and lost the season so early.
