He consistently confuses the defensive coverages, and has been unable to shake the tendencies that were developed and reinforced by the spread offense he played in at Baylor i.e. his feel for when a receiver is "open" is lacking because he is looking for receivers running free in open space rather than simply getting separation of a few yards; he is terrible at timing patterns; and he holds the ball too long. While his arm strength is Herculean compared to Fits, his accuracy is only marginally better than Fits. how do u know this?... He doesn't. He's assuming that since Petty, a second year player that everyone knew needed development, that missed 6 weeks of practice, getting probably 12 snaps a practice, hasn't beaten out the veteran offensive leader of this team (as bad as we all think he's been) then he must look like complete dog shit and will never amount to anything. Nobody knows how close or how far away Petty is from Fitz. Nobody. _

Eli Manning wasn't better then Warner when the Giants made the switch. He was drafted on potential. The Giants wanted to switch back to Warner because Eli sucked so bad and it was Warner that said no. The argument that Fitz is better right now doesn't hold water. Fitz is not the answer. Petty or Hack might not be either, but let's find out.

If Mac wants Petty to play, he has to cut Fits or hope Petty improves a lot in a short amount of time.

I think a Super Bowl winning QB that got benched (Warner) knows more about what it takes to develop a QB than Bowles does. Bowles needs to go if he is going to be so shortsighted.

It doesn't matter what you think. It does not matter what I think. Bowles makes the decisions. And he is a coach who believes in competition and playing the guys who have shown through practice and play that they are the best player.

No I have a better idea let's put in Qb's with no experience and go into next season with one healthy Qb on the roster. Pay them no mind.
