Holy shit!
I'm in.
He'll get paid though. Thinking Atlanta will have a strong look too. My bet is he goes Jets or Falcons.

Rex's next stop? Nah... ... ...nah... I'd be heading to my first Jets home game if that happened.

Rex's next stop? Nah... ... ...nah... Didn't Rex and Rob live in Toronto with their mother when they were kids?

Gonna disagree with you for the 1st time here mate, he won with Kyle Orton, they slapped our division, maintained a physical Defense under him, offensive guy. He walked out on them, he wasn't sacked, he's a good coach.

Interesting development here. If he came here before a GM is in place would it be the end of the world? Is it a rule that a GM gets to choose his own coach?

That's crazy shit, right there.
Why would Jets fans like to sign him ? What has the Maroon King done that suggests we can't live without him ?
He's from the Bronx ? Big Friggin' Deal ...
To me he would not opt out unless he has a wink-wink, nod-nod agreement with another team ... or he can't stand the management in Buffalo.
I think even with the best DL in football, without a qb, he knows his tenure in Buffalo is doomed.

He immediately becomes the top candidate as the only coach with HC experience who is "ascending".

The ownership is up in the air and there is talk of moving the team. His value is decent right now (in his favor) because he put a good product on the field and just beat NE. This is the best time for him to make a move.

I think Marrone opted out more because of the situation in Buffalo than a desire to come to the Jets, but I may be wrong. Their young quarterback is as much of a disaster or worse than Geno. And Kyle Orton just retired.
And they got 8 feet of snow in early November. Who wants to deal with that?

There 1st winning season in a decade and by the sounds of it their ownership is not happy he's gone, NFL site says this is a blow to the Bills.
This is a coup if the Jets Get this done IMO.
