One thing I've learned - based on reading this thread and others - is that the Jets have the absolute worst fanbase in the history of professional sports. Very few TRUE Jet fans on this forum.

2017 is going to be awesome in my opinion. No expectations, can just sit back and watch how people develop. 2016 is about as bad as a season can get for a fan. High expectations, come nowhere near to meeting them, but not getting a good look at the future either.

We will have a ton of cap room if we have the balls to cut the right people and we have a high draft pick.

Define a true Jet fan. If the jets have the worst fans, they deserve them because the jets are the worst franchise in the history of sports. And we are the greatest fans. They don't deserve to have a single one of us. And many, many have already left this team (including me). Not only do they suck, but they are unlikable dickheads too. They've lost a whole generation of fans with their most recent ineptitude. I do not know one kid who likes the jets. Not one. Watch what met death looks like the rest of the way and even next year. Home games for the opposition. If the Giants go far in the playoffs or God forbid win another SB, the jets demise will be complete. And then hopefully the move to Nome is their only choice. Fuck this team. I won't miss them at all.

Just watchin the Giants game, Mac needs firing for letting snacks walk out of the door. I don't blame him for letting Snacks walk No way I would've payed a NT who plays 50% of the defensive snaps almost $10 million a year. Are you okay with paying a has been QB 12 million a year?

What other choice did Macc have? Fitz had just broken single season QB records for the Jets, had immense support in the locker room, and helped lead the team to a 10 win season. Us fans can sit around all day talking about how we should've let Fitz walk and rolled with Geno...but the GM wasn't going to do that. He's the one who takes the fall for those moves if they don't pan out, not us.

Macc should have known better than anyone since he was with him in Houston and saw him every day with the jets. It was a boneheaded decision that everyone could see would be a disaster from the moment it happened. Macc wasted 2 years with an old has been nobody who never was. Yes, he should take the fall if the moves don't pan out and they (Fitz for 2 years, terrible draft picks that most fans hated as soon as they were made like devin smith, hackensuck, lee, etc. etc. ) HAVEN'T. He is responsible for the worst roster in the league.

He's the one who takes the fall for those moves if they don't pan out, not us. I understand he wanted to sign Fitz, However he was the only bidder there wasn't one team that was going to pay him anything close to 3 million a year By doing so he made the immense support Fitz had on the offense happy and lost the heart and soul of the defense. Macc should never gave Fitz more then 6 million, i didn't think he was worth more then 2 mil but would've went to 4 mil as a thank you for last year. You never weaken one position to shore up another position, Bowles does it by putting Sheldon in coverage What's the point of having 4 Qbs on the roster if you aren't giving them a chance. What's the point of declaring every position is an open completion if you crown King Ryan as soon as he opens the frigging opens the door. Pay the man who plays hard and wants to be here not some washed up QB who got lucky against a easy schedule and choked in what was likely the biggest game of his mostly pathetic career Macc is kind of guy that when he buys a car salesman asks him what he's willing to pay and says full sticker and walks away thinking boy I fucked them.
