Kinda describes the futility better than the Super Bowl drought.
1998. 2002. Every team except Browns 2.0 has to have more than that.
2 of 46 atop your small group.

Yea but some say there wouldn't have been a merger if it wasnt for us.
So we the real MVPs.

Following this team is a complete snooze fest. Battered wife syndrome at its finest. They give you nothing in return for our countless hours of investment.
No div titles, no home playoff games, no playoffs at all, constant prime time beat downs, countless ridiculous scenarios like the buttfumble etc, never have a franchise QB, horrific drafts year after year, need I go on?
I will always love the Jets but there's no joy in pulling for this team, it's the same borin season on repeat year on year as we gracefully age.
Watching the Pats win the division knowing the Jets only chance at the playoffs is a WC spot has got beyond boring now, watching 8-8 teams and yellow flags send the same corporate money making teams and QB's to the playoffs has made me fall out of love with the game period, I just don't enjoy football anymore.
listening to the same NY doom and gloom media beat the living shit out of the team 24/7 is like being radicalised to hate them yourself, watching shitty QB after shitty QB and clueless GM/coach combo's fall flat on thier faces feels like somebody ripping out the wires while you're still on life support.
Will I come back for more? Yeah sure I will, will I watch the next disaster? Yeah sure....Why? Because I'm a clueless fuckin cutter who doesn't know any better and is addicted to the pain.
Fuck the Jets and the borin ass greedy corporate machine that is the NFL.
Good day.

All I keep thinking is how sweet it will be when they win 4 consecutive superbowls before I die.

In fact, we are almost there. The trick is to play Petty and/or Hack next season. If either is any good, great. If both are terrible, even better. We'll suck our way to greatness by finally getting the top pick in the NFL draft. We missed on Manning because he wanted to stay in school another year. Then missed on Mariota because dumbass Rex beat the Titans and fins in the last 3 weeks costing us the second overall pick. -- Think what the Jets future would look like now if we had Mariota under center... fucking asshole Rex. -- Third time is the charm. Can we say Lose'n for Rosen yet?

This post is terrific, aside from being a cutter (not sure what that means unless it's the bicycle movie from the 70's) I agree 100%
