This is the easiest of questions. the 3 players I'd build around on defense are leonard williams. And the 3 players I'd build around on offense are... uh.... little help here guys. Serious question, Is there anyone worth keeping on the offensive side of the ball. The jets could cut any player on the offense and I wouldnt bat an eye. Everyone could be upgraded. O line. Wrs. Qbs. Get rid of Revis,Clady,Richardson,Gilchrist,(Giacometti or whatever his name iis)Pryor, .. Let Harris, Mangold and Marshal stay at half the money... Go OL and Cb in off season... Put faith in the two kids at Qb and sign a vet...

Wrong. It's poorly-coached, big difference. I'd go to war with this roster any day of the week. Top ten roster in the NFL. EASILY. Woody and Mac have done a great job building the team, it's just so poorly coached that all the talent goes to waste. That's why I don't blame guys like Sheldon and Revis quitting on the team. Why play hard when all of your effort goes to waste? Attachments:

Reading this thread has caused me to reflect on just how much damage Tannenbaum (under the influence of Rex) and Idzik have caused. Tanny kept trading picks for vets and then Idzik completely wasted 2 entire drafts:
2009: 3 draft picks; 0 on Jets current roster 2010: 4 draft picks; 0 on Jets current roster 2011: 6 draft picks; 1 on Jets current roster - Mohammed Wilkerson 2012: 8 draft picks; 0 on Jets current roster 2013 7 draft picks; 3 on Jets current roster - Sheldon Richardson, Geno Smith, Brian Winters 2014: 12 draft picks; 3 on Jets current roster - Calvin Pryor, Dexter McDougle; Quincy Enunwa
In the above drafts the Jets selected 11 players in the first and second rounds, and only 4 (Mo, Shel, Geno, and Pryor) are on the Jets current roster.
These results are just too terrible for words to accurately describe.

Some pieces to build around and personally I'm not as down on Mac drafts as some others Offense Winters Johnson Shell Carpenter Enunwa Powell Anderson Peake Decker ASJ Defense Lee Jenkins Burris Simon Williams Roberts M Williams Miles Pryor If I had to pick 3 for each Offense - enunwa, winters , carpenter Defense. - Lee, Jenkins , Williams Jenkins has been quite to start season but settling in last 3 games with 1.5 sacks That list is just sad. A group of players who would be 3rd stringers or cut on any decent team in the league. Unfortunately that's what happens when you have no players from previous drafts idzik had 21 picks in 2 years how many are left

Had he taken Teddy or Carr we'd be set at QB (I get Teddy us hurt but that was a freak thing). Not getting one of those QBs when they we're sitting right there was criminal. But since he whiffed on the QBs how about taking any one of the WRs in the that incredible WR Year of the Draft? _

Idzik whiffed on everybody. Only guy making a positive contribution considering his draft slot is Enunwa. Doesn"t get any worse.

The wheels fell off when Tanny started listening to Rex. Tannenbaum drafted in his first two years Ferguson, Mangold Brad smith, Leon Washington, Revis, and Harris. Those two drafts included a trade for Thomas jones also. What did idzik do in your mind to prove he was a better drafter of talent.

Tannenbaums biggest mistake was extending Sanchez. A terrible decision. He also traded for Doug Jolly if you remember that. A 2nd rounder for a complete washout.

That was Tanny with Mangini. As I said Tanny with Mangini as A-OK. Tanny without Mangini was a train wreck that was so bad by comparison it makes Idzik's drafts look good.
