Dammit Bills signed Patrick DiMarco Jets need to make a run at one of these FB's if they're serious about getting back to pounding the ball. Juszczyk and Tolbert are still out there. Kyle Juszczyk - RB - 49ers 49ers agreed to terms with FB Kyle Juszczyk, formerly of the Ravens. Juszczyk is an excellent blocker, but also an adept pass catcher, snagging 78 passes over the past two seasons. He'll be a versatile body out of the backfield for creative play-caller Kyle Shanahan. Slowly but surely, the 49ers are at least adding a few viable NFLers to their skill corps. Juszczyk turns 26 in April. It makes little sense on a day where the Bills have already signed Patrick DiMarco, but ESPN's Jordan Raanan reports Tolbert is coming aboard as a running back. Whatever his position is listed as, it's a puzzling move. The Bills must view Tolbert as a battering ram behind LeSean McCoy, who has had struggles at the goal line. Tolbert played for new coach Sean McDermott in Carolina. Source: Jordan Raanan on Twitter Mar 8 - 4:40 PM Well...I guess Julian Howsare will be leading the way.

I think Zach Line from the Vikings still available.

I guess you don't have to be a Harvard grad to realize this is crazy $$$ for a fullback. Thats what happens when you have $98MM in cap space.

I read that McCown is on his way to Dallas because they need a backup QB.
Awesome! Now there is very little chance of a Fitzpatrick type lucky season fucking up the Jets future. Either Petty or Hackenberg steps up and plays like a QB with a promising future, or one of them or some no talent QB leads the jets to a 14 loss season.

We need a player like Leonard Fournette to at least be excited this season for. Someone to put butt in seats.

I'm ok with the Ravens signing Jefferson, I wasn't keen on having the Jets pay him 9 million per season.

I'm ok with the Ravens signing Jefferson, I wasn't keen on having the Jets pay him 9 million per season. Honestly, sitting on the sidelines through most of the big money signings may be our best approach this season. Considering the turmoil surrounding the team right now as we start a major rebuild, only way to get a top tier FA is likely to be to overpay -- or someone who has other ties to the area or the CS. Sit out the big names this year, try to build a good young nucleus through the draft, and use FA to fill in after you have the young core in place.

The big question is can the Jets draft well enough to build that younger core going forward?
