Police search for two suspects in NJ double homicide
Newark, NJ – Newark police are looking for two suspects in connection with the murder of two people on the city’s west side.
Officers responded to a call about a possible dead body Saturday night and evidence was retrieved at the scene including a pair of gloves reportedly worn by the assailants.
When they arrived on Main Street near Livernois and Joy, they found two victims with gunshot wounds. Both victims were pronounced dead in the living room of the lower apartment building.
A surveillance photo of suspects fleeing the scene has been released to the public as well as audio that was recorded. The first suspect is heard yelling, "Move your white ass....you play slower than your 40 time," as the second replied, "Fuck you, my wife is hot."
Anyone with information is asked to call police.
