Right, like a jew would have that experience. The company I worked for was owned by a pair of brothers who are Jewish. Our former CFO pointed out to me one day that whenever we went out to lunch together, the owners would pick the place to eat and none of them were places one had to leave a tip! lol Coincidence!??! And Ches' former CEO? None other than Martin Bormann.

Thank you everyone for all of your suggestions they have been very helpful! I have to laugh at the NYC prices though. Guacamole and a basket of chips, $12. Could be worse though, could be Bahston. That place is more expensive!! Did you go to the refinery? If not, go. Trust me.

Here in this heavy military area, there are so many that people start getting out of work at 3 thru 5:30. My wife and I would probably get there around 4 since our daughter and her beau are landing at LaGuardia at that time and will find their own way there.

Many people get off work early on Friday's in the summer, like 2 or 3pm. 4pm should be cool.

The younger one is thinking of joining the Peace Corps after she graduates college next year and go to fuckin' Africa to a country where our state dept. says not to travel because of ISIS and Al Qaeda activity! WTF?!?!?!?!

WTF?!?!?!?! If you ever put your foot down...this is the time. I had a cousin do exactly that years ago and lets just say, she was not looked out for. These things are run by snowflake idealists who have no problem putting our kids in harms way so they can claim to be saving the world. I'm dead serious, do not let her go. My cousin has never been the same and the Peace Corp did nothing to support her then...or now. To them, her experience was an inconvenient truth that threatened their clueless world-view so she was basically dismissed and ignored.

WTF?!?!?!?! Oye. Oye is right! She has an interview with them a week from tomorrow. Hopefully they won't offer her the position, she said she may not accept anyway. Today my wife sent her an email from a guy we know in the military who's friends with an Air Force Colonel that overseas security in that part of Africa. Basically he said he would "vehemently tell his relative no!".
