Am I the only one who thinks it is total bullshit that the Jets TC is only open to the public on the 3 weekends (no weekdays) and gets sold out once they make the free reservations available.
I thought last year it was just a one-time thing. Apparently, this is how it will be every year. Buncha fuckheads ruining one the favorite rituals for me and the sopne.

I used to love when they trained at Hofstra especially during the Parcells years.

This team has treated its ever dwindling fan base like crap for far too long. They ruin everything. So bad you'd think they do it on purpose. Proves the team is run by incompetent fucktards at every single level, Surprised they are sold out this year for TC tho.

I used to love when they trained at Hofstra especially during the Parcells years. I remember when Walt Michaels ran the show. We'd literally walk out to practice. Almost nothing stopping you. I remember interacting with the players. Every once in a while a kid would get too ballsy and someone would walk over. Not security just someone in a JETS shirt or jacket and tell them to settle down. Players would be jawing with each other and what not. Then Joe Walton happened. Guy was such a paranoid freak he had shit put up on the fences show no one would be able to "spy" on practice. He sucked.

I never got a response to my email, but I just received an email notice from Ticketmaster allowing the me to obtain admission tickets for the Green and white scrimmage at MetLife and, more importantly, to go to WEEKDAY Training Camp on any of 8 days between July 31 and August 4. Did the Jets have a change of heart?

I used to love when they trained at Hofstra especially during the Parcells years. I had a blast out there in the 80s-90s. It was never a mob scene during weekdays. Small bleachers and you could go up and talk to the guys after practice. Almost every player came over to talk to folks.

I enjoyed when the kickers started kicking the balls into the stands and some of the kids tried running away with them. Then the Jets interns were chasing them all over the place.....good times. You could also meet them when practice was over and they were walking to their cars. I couldn't believe how tall Johnny Johnson was, he was my height and I'm 6'4". Conversely I couldn't believe how short Glenn Foley was. He looked like he was barely 6 feet.

Went to TC a few times when it was held at Hofstra and Pennington was the QB. Stayed at that great Marriott next door. Heard about the debacle at Cortland from a friend whose son was attending the college and got a job as an intern working at the camp. Very critical of Rex's after hours drinking in the local bars, with the players and the college intern kids. Wonder what the Bowles show is like.

I get it that Florham Park is a great facility but TC hasnt been the same for me since they left Hofstra.
Just realized its been 7 years since Hard Knocks. We were proud as peacocks. Hopefully being irrelevant pays off with a first overall pick. I fear the apathy will become permanent.

Hopefully being irrelevant pays off with a first overall pick. I fear the apathy will become permanent. The apathy has engulfed the few remaining fans of this franchise. It is one thing to be horribly bad (as they most definitely will be), but to also be incredibly boring (as they will most likely be w/ a lack of a single offensive play maker), coupled with the Giants probably being good, it spells disaster for the Jets. I don't think the front office even realizes how bad it's going to get. At least when fans are upset, they are invested and interested, there will be widespread, complete and total indifference. The papers should stop covering them. Hopefully the tabloids can stir up some controversy to at least make it entertaining.
