If he lights it up he'll declare.
If he falls back maybe yes, maybe no.
No one can predict anything right now.
Besides Josh Allen, Josh Rosen, Luke Falk or Mason Rudolph might be even better.
Going to be a fun college season.

I prefer Allen anyway
Much more of a rare physical specimen, is going to have 3 years of active experience in a pro-style offense when he comes out, and didn't play at USC.
I'm not one of these guys that discounts Darnold because of what school he attends...but I'd be lying through my teeth (fingertips) if I said it doesn't linger in the back of my mind.
If Allen lives up to his potential, you could have the next Elway on your hands.

But he is an incredible physical specimen and super mobile with an incredible arm. _

If the Jets are going to have a Top 2-3 pick and go all in on a guy for the next 3-4 years at least...then he's the one I'd prefer. If Rosen is healthy and has a bounceback year, he'd probably be right there as my 1b alongside Darnold. I know he has the rep for being a bit of a pompous douche, but so do guys like Brady and Rodgers and I'd take either one in a heartbeat. When he's on, he picks you apart like a goddamn surgeon.

We could see as many as 6 QB's go in the 1st round next year if all of the top guys declare

Makes no difference this draft is loaded at QB. Sam might not even be the best QB on the board. Josh Allen, Josh Rosen, Mason Rudolph those 3 alone are top 3 picks add in Luke Falk and Lamar Jackson as dark horse picks the Jets have a ton of options if they have the worse record. I wasnt big on Sam still hung over on the last USC that started for the Jets.

Anybody but Rosen. There is a reason why his nose looks like that.
Hoping Josh Allen has a huge year. I would like a big bodied QB.

I think he has the accuracy in him but he can't decipher when too throw a fastball or put some air and touch on it. I'm still on the Falk train 100%....he has the it factor but I think Jackson goes higher than you think. He's a QB, not a WR convert.

Alright … if you’re looking at it the way the Post presents “suck for sam,” they may have a point. But there’s another, more important way of looking at it for Jets’ fans. It’s really very simple. That the Jets are gonna “Suck” in 2017 is a given. So instead of going through another sucky season, where we, ad infinitum, blame Woody, Maccagnan, Sally Bowles, select players, each other … and so forth, we tell ourselves, “wait a minute, we are in the “suck for sam” mode. It takes the edge off of our 2017 suck season. Good way to look at it.
