Thanks for posting. Looked better than I expected, but I really hope we see him throw downfield a bit more. Based on my count, He was 1 for 4 on passes 10+ yards downfield -- and the one completion was about 10-12 yards. Inside of 10 yards, looked like he was very accurate. 17 - 21 with two drops (Jalin Marshall and Anthony Firsker) , 1 batted down at the line, and 1 pbu by a DB. Better than I expected, but he has got to be able to stretch the field.

I don't give a fuck how many wins we get. Even if we do get the 1st overall pick, the odds that the dude is the next Montana, are miniscule (off the top of my head I can think of Manning, Elway who've panned out vs the vast majority of busts). The guy would be drafted by the team with arguably the worst O line in the NFL, and rabid fans demanding he start from game 1...gets destroyed...rinse, repeat
It's a crap shoot no matter who the QB prospect is.
I've lost any kind of fucks to be given, I'll see myself out..

The kid still has tons of work to do, but even a couple of the short throws are really impressive. Mainly the 3rd and 4 dart to Harper and the off balance pass to Firkser. One of the main things that jumped out to me as well was his footwork. He plants his feet on nearly every pass, something that was basically a rarity during his last 2 years at Penn State and during the pre-season last year.

I do love seeing someone able to throw a ball with velocity that gives the receiver a chance to make moves.

There has to be a point in time where the blame has to be placed solely on Toilet Bowles
I understand the lack of talent on the offense....this defense is going to be on the field A LOT
BUT, this defense is loaded with talent. No reason we should give up big plays early in the game. Toliet Bowles has a shitty scheme I can't wait until next off season when Greene is named head coach

However do expect them to show improvement and for the defense to play like a top 10 defense. Also, I expect Bowles to be a better HC. Despite the low expectations, I have no problem letting him go if he continues to show he doesn't get it. Further, I agree the defense will be on the field a lot and face the problem of breakdowns based on the time on the field and from fatigue.

The first game the D looked pretty good. The second game there were a couple of plays where there was no Jet DB around the WR, just like last year. That needs to stop.
