You have to have the balls or circumstances to start a guy like Petty. Brady was not considered a franchise QB until he got tossed in there and never looked back. This regime has no balls and is always looking for the safe option at the QB position. 100%. Think about Petty possibly recreating what he did in college. And then think about Hack and recreating what he did in college. Don't think about Petty being much worse than college. Don't think about Hack somehow being much better than college. Btw, 52% comp guys don't become 62% comp guys in the NFL. If the lights came on for Petty, he could be a player.
_ And if the lights came on for this Jets Franchise, they could've been one of the teams that actually WON shit instead of just being shit. Whatever, though. After what I saw tonight, I'd have Petty back up McClown as I know he'll get a shot sooner than later at starting.

This is my take on him as well, long term. Very good backup who can start when needed, but not a franchise QB. Hack, I fear, would be lucky to even get to that level. You have to have the balls or circumstances to start a guy like Petty. Brady was not considered a franchise QB until he got tossed in there and never looked back. This regime has no balls and is always looking for the safe option at the QB position. sad and true. this bullshit club has no fuckin balls what so ever. NONE. That is what happens when it is run by a big pharma weasel pussy. I mean he's not even cool enough to be a con man like craft the mobster
