I don't know why, but I can't get the image of Earl Thomas obliterating this guy on Sunday......Polamalu style This would require Hill to get open, which doesn't happen.

I still don't understand how Stephen Hill was such a bad player. I mean, he got drafted in the second round. What the hell caused him to decline as quickly as he did? He was a reach to begin with IMO. Not that much productivity/games played in college. This! Every time I watch Alshon Jeffery snag a ball out of the sky I feel like flipping my coffee table over

I'll never forget the South Carolina fan on JI SCREAMING for Alshon Jeffrey when we took Hill. He wasn't the only one, but it was hilarious how pissed he was...and rightly so. Hill is the classic example of getting fooled by a guy with straight line speed and little athletic ability. Also, the classic "compare a player to another player that they are nothing like." People thought he was mini Calvin Johnson cause of the height/size/speed combo and the fact they went to the same school. When you see a guy like OBJ dominate in the NFL you realize what really makes a receiver great. That's why I have a lot of faith in Cooper. I don't know if he'll be a hall of famer, but he's a super polished route runner who makes big plays and always gets open kind of like when AJ Green came out of college.

It's not official until jetsrule128 makes a thread saying stephen hill is ACTIVE today and that he made a good decision leaving the jets.

well i think we all know deep down inside that if they do bring him in, he'll haul in two bomb touchdowns and we can listen to the announcers talk about what idiots the jets are

You seriously don't remember Stephen Hill? He was a TERRIBLE wide receiver who played here for a few years. Maybe the worst, in Jets history.

No....just because he was good in our first game with us and to make the off season more interesting he will light it up for 2 td's, 184 yds and make everyone think old stone hands made a "southern recovery" then next season he will revert to balls bouncing off his hands and catching with his body....dont be fooled by the foolish!!

Can you imagine Stephen Hill crossing paths during the game with Richard Sherman ? That has fumble interception written all over it.

Nice find. Look at at all the open space around that fucktard. I know there's no such a thing as a career-ending drop, but this is about as close as it gets.
