Imagine if one of these 2 Qb's fall to us at 6 and we pass on them because we picked Johnny Turdburger last season? One of those QB'S are sure to have a HOF career.........because SOJ

Thank God he's not. I guess not much, but would our draft have looked worse if we took Manzeil instead of Pryor? Manzeil has some trade value probably. And, the jury is still out on wether he'll be successful or not (I guess it's still out on Pryor too, but we didn't even see flashes this year). Our draft is sub-par to begin with but it would be hurl worthy with Johnny Turd picked in the 1st round.... Manzeil played what 2 or 3 games? Who knows if he'll be good. I'm not saying he will be or even saying we should have taken him, BUT I don't think our draft would have been worse if we took a flier on him rather than pyror. And our draft wasn't sub par, it was TERRIBLE. An F-.

However, the problem with reaching for a QB like Manziel is that if he isn't a starter then it is a total bust pick and on top of that sets you back because you can't know what you have til you give him a fair shot. Only 1 QB plays on an NFL team and that means there is no room for error. As bad as Pryor looked at times we still have 2 safeties on the field (which gives me more of a shot to play) and you can still use him on special teams and running downs as a in the box safety until he possibly figures it all out. If Manziel sucks (which he does) then it's a complete waste and sets you back because now you have to get ANOTHER QB to develop and it was all wasted time for your franchise... a feeling we Jets fans know well. To me Manziel is Tebow (obviously better throwing mechanics, but still college tools that don't transfer) with a Jamarcus Russel attitude. I can't wait to root against him.

No matter how unfair my opinion of Johnny Bustball may me I'm pretty confident in my prediction.....

A kid who is a totally immature dumbass with a 5'11 180 lb frame and doesn't resemble an NFL QB in the slightest. It doesn't take some kind of master talent evaluator to see that this kid doesn't have much of a future. But don't feel bad for Johnny. He'll always have daddy and pop pop's oil money to fall back on.

We are the fucking Browns with one fucking SB, in fact they have more championships. I don't really care what the Browns did back in the 1950's. They haven't won a playoff game since 1994 and have only made it to the playoffs once since then. They also fire HC's and GM's more often than most people change their underwear and are the posterboy franchise for dysfunction. Bottom line, the Jets are not the Browns.

It still doesn't mean that the Jets are in the running for lowest of the low with teams like the Browns and Lions.

I don't care about any of that SOJ crap, the bottom line here is the Jets relatively speaking haven't done jack, I call a spade a spade. Hey it took the Steelers 40 years to win their first of six, so I figure I have that going for me.

Hey it took the Steelers 40 years to win their first of six, so I figure I have that going for me. And the Browns have done less than Jack. They've been a dysfunctional mess for 20+ years and there's seemingly no hope in sight. Why the fuck do you think Mike Pettine is their coach? Because they were just dying to have him? No, it's because they were forced to settle because no one worth a shit wants to be there. I'm sure Pettine was somewhere around 27th on their list of preferred candidates. Now one of the brightest young offensive minds in the game has told them to go fuck themselves, their owner Jimmy Haslam was supposedly texting play call suggestions to the sideline during games, the QB that they just drafted in the 1st round repeatedly does stupid shit and looks like he has no business stepping foot on an NFL field, and now they're all set to hire Mike Cavanaugh to oversee their offense. Meanwhile the Jets are on the verge of landing a respected, longtime scout as their next GM as well as arguably the hottest HC candidate on the market in Dan Quinn. So yes...at least we're not the Browns.

The Lions are good now. Even the Cardinals made the SB and are pretty good. We STINK and are now officially one of the worst franchises in the history of football. Pathetic. OK, so we are like the Browns, great. Or the Jaguars (whoopie!). We are definitely at the bottom of the barrell though. Bottom 5. Does it really matter if we are 2nd worst or 5th worst? We are one of the worst.
