Would Teddy B have won the games the Jets lost against Cleveland and Miami if he had started in place of Darnold? Personally, I don't think Namath would of won the Jacksonville game given the overall terrible performance of the Jets. That hypothetical situation obviously would of put the Jets at 3 - 1 at home with the Broncos next Sunday. Would that motivate the underachievers and loafers on the team to play better? On the flipside, despite winning only one game, Darnold is getting invaluable experience, which can only accelerate his progression into the Jets franchise QB.

I would say probably Cleveland and possibly Miami.
Either way we werent contending this year. Let Darnold learn and go through his growing process.
Hopefully he improves as the season goes on and we get a high draft pick.
New HC and GM would be nice too. But I think Mac is 99.9% safe. Bowles is 50/50 at this point.

He might also have looked like a car wreck victim after some of the hits Sammie took. Broken in 2

Probably be on the IR behind that OL doubt he would have won any of those games defense handed the game to Cleveland through stupid penalties and poor coverage the other 2 games the Jets were completely dominated. Probably in our best long term interest fanwise if we didnt win anymore games. Hopefully this Johnson does the correct thing fire both these clowns and hire a guy like Cowher or Shanahan to actually fix the franchise.

Teddy would NOT have win bc Blowes n Co would have made sure to have zero offense, just like last year when blowes instructed team to quit and just like every time. This fucking loser. Him n Mo. Disgrace to east Jersey

Only way Teddy could have won is if he did it completely on his own. The same lack of O linemen and recievers would haunt him also. And he would have still had to deal with Bowles who loves going punts and field goals when they're down by three scores late in the game. Maybe he would have gained a few more yards scrambling out of trouble, maybe scored a few more field goals, but no more wins.

Said in an interview something like "I don't know what else I can do". Know what you can do? Pack your fucking bags!

You may not want Macc back but he won’t be fired.
