I left midtown at 5:30 Got home at 10:30 after walking over the gwb and walking halfway to teaneck before I finally got a bus. Spent the majority of today yelling at Toothface Murphy on Twitter. I gotta get the fuck outta nyc/nj. There is zero reason to live here outside of superior food. Nah they got the Dominos everywhere now

Yes, but people in Atlanta don't face these weather conditions. To me that state couldn't fully prepare for something it never really encounters. Therefore, causing such chaos.Β But NJ & NY do.Β I've driven through blizzards from NJ-NY and it has never taken anywhere close to 4 hours. Yesterday, on a 40 mins route it took me 6 hours... That's ridiculous.Β Carl Banks (On the FAN) said it took him 6 hours to get home from Metlife yesterday, 10 miles. I only had to go local in Nassau and Sunrise Hwy was a parking lot. Looks like multiple municipalities across the tri-state area rolled the dice that this storm was nothing and by the time they realized they fucked up it was too late.Β So if you take sunrise from Nassau you must get all the lights

Only took me about 35 minutes total. About a 40 mile ride from Raleigh to my place. Rained a little early but then stopped. About 55-60 degrees.Β Escape that fucking dump. I hate you lol

Drive Every one away while they destroy the next place, then have all the land to themselves

Its days like Thursday Im glad I telecommute. The only downside is that when other folks have snow days, Im working. And snowblowing the walk and driveway and everything else.
But it sure sounds like NYC/NJ/LI and the Hudson Valley all basically got caught with their pants down thinking this was going to be a couple of inches, rather than the wet, slippery, almost a foot that a lot of people got.
