My personal rankings: 1. Quinn 2. Bowes 3. Kubiak 4. Marrone 5. Reich 6. Cable 7. Lynn It's not Bowes, Bowles or Blows. It's Bowles. And it's not just you. Half our fan base doesn't know this guys name for some reason. Sheesh! Yeah...that was just a typo on my phone. It's 4am here...I am sleepy.

I wouldn't be against him entirely, but over guys like Quinn and Bowles?
Fuck no
Kubiak strikes me as being cut from the same cloth as Norv Turner.
I'd take the guy as my OC any day of the fucking week. But as the head guy steering the ship? I'd have some serious reservations.

I thought he had a very sound gameplan. It was the defense and the playcalling of former Patriot fuckface Dan Pees that screwed them over. After all of these years, why defensive coaches still allow their CB's to constantly play 10+ yards off the line of scrimmage while Brady has proven time and time again that he'll eat your ass alive all day with those bubble screens and shorts slants...is beyond me.

He needed to eat much more time off the clock before going for the TD, just a terrible play call from every aspect

So the guy who has defended Rex's ultra-conservative ass tooth and nail, is now blasting Kubiak and Co. for being "conservative" when they had the balls to go for it on fourth down 3 times unlike grand pooba Rex Ryan? I wouldn't care much for Kubiak as a HC, but I wouldn't say peep besides "Fuck Yes!" if we hired him to oversee the offense.

This type of post is why Jets fans are looked at as idiots (as little offense meant as possible - but it's true).
Kubiak's offense took it to the Patriots, mixing run and pass masterfully. He was aggressive all game, scored 31 points in a road playoff game, and had great play-calls on 4th down multiple times in the game.
You complain that he "got cute" inside the 10 yard line? The Ravens went 4-5 scoring touchdowns in the red zone!!!! How many times have the Jets scored 31 points in playoff game (or any game?) How good is our red zone offense? And you are complaining about Kubiak's playcalling....wow!
Then, you go on to say that he is "trying to score too quickly". Are you kidding me! There are 2 minutes left in the 4th quarter of a playoff game and you are down by 4. They have the ball at the 40 yard line. Guess what...they are trying to score a touchdown anyway, anyhow they can. This is not Madden. You don't worry about leaving the other QB time when you are LOSING. You call plays to score anyway you can.
Geez, I hope you don't have kids that will perpetuate this drivel for another generation.

How many points did Baltimore give up to NE today? 35?
Interesting that the Jets didn't give up nearly that many either time they played the Pats. Held them to what, 17 points about 3 weeks ago?

To be fair to Kubiak, he put together a very good gameplan that put the Ravens up 14-0 and then 28-14. It's not his fault that the Ravens' pass rush disappeared right when it was needed most and Brady was allowed to pick apart a disaster of a secondary.
The Ravens were aggressive on offence when they needed to be for most of the time, but I did feel that when Forsett was gouging the Patriots' run defence for yards at a time, when it was 1st & 5, it was time to call a run play, not spread out the offence and ask Flacco to sling it around like Favre.
I'm not entirely sure that Kubiak would put the Jets at the top of his wishlist. He loves his tight ends (how many times did Flacco target Daniels in the game?). Amaro showed some promise as a rookie, but Cumberland is a mediocre JAG and behind those two, the Jets have nothing at the position.
