Really surprised more don't feel this way.
Look at his pedigree:
QB coach for SB champion 49ers with Steve Young/George Seifert
Offensive Coordinator for 11 years under Mike Shanahan with 2 SB titles
Prior Head Coaching Experience - won back to back division titles in 2011 & 2012 with playoff victories each year. Fired the very next season (2013) after a 2-11 start due in large part to injuries.
If you saw the game today, he is not afraid to go for the jugular. Bold play-calling on 4th down and in the red-zone all game long. I am hoping the Quinn stuff dies down now that we can interview Kubiak. He really does check all of the boxes in a major way, and I think we would hire a prominent DC to be the "Head Coach of the Defense" so he could go about fixing our anemic offense that has been neglected way too long. I would feel much more comfortable with Kubiak & his staff working with a young QB and installing a new offense than I would Kyle Shanahan under Quinn.

Kubiak would be a fine choice. However, 2 weeks ago, he was WIDELY dismissed by the fan base. Not saying you particularly, but this type a swing in opinion after 2 games he performed well in is silly.
Also, what QB has Kubiak ever groomed? I don't think he's anymore of a QB whisper than the little Shanahan.

His playcalling was great in this game, but as the previous poster indicated....who cares about his (very good) performance over the last 2 weeks.
This is about his obvious talent on the offensive side of the ball. His run blocking schemes and success follow him wherever he goes. He has a track record of working with great QBs and even had Matt Schaub winning multiple division titles. The Texans' defense was atrocious while he was a Head Coach. If we got a prominent DC in here, I believe we'd have instant success. We would all remember what an NFL offense looks like.

Fine with him as well rather have Quinn but if the Jets hired him wouldn't be upset. Just please no Doug Marrone. Only one problem is his health that's only thing I'd be worried about. Remember more stress in NY than Houston.

Showed how not to beat top QBs I should have made it clear. He isn't my first(or second) choice, but he is a reasonable candidate. I just find it funny that now a lot of fans are warming up to him after 2 games when they had an entire 9 year or so resume to go off of.

Kubiak, for me atleast completely turned me off from him today. He had every chance to win that game and he got cute, to beat an all time great you have to be disciplined or have an all pro at QB yourself. Let's face it we have .1% chance of getting a top 5 QB anytime soon, so he ain't the one to get us to the promise land

My personal rankings: 1. Quinn 2. Bowes 3. Kubiak 4. Marrone 5. Reich 6. Cable 7. Lynn It's not Bowes, Bowells or Blows. It's Bowles. And it's not just you. Half our fan base doesn't know this guys name for some reason. Sheesh!
