I'm interested in Gase; for all those reasons. I just think "no nonsense" would be read as a reactionary move by the players. I think they have to get a real deal offensive guy that can handle rough exposure in the loco media. Also a guy who won’t tolerate these fucking goofs constantly showing up late to meetings, or missing them entirely. That shit was a recurring theme throughout Bowles’ entire tenure, all the way till his final game yesterday (Trumaine Johnson). And what did Bowles do? Gave him the day off, as if that’s some sort of punishment. If you want to punish him, have him play each and every snap on defense and special teams. Remember about 7-8 years ago when Giants players were bitching about Coughlin’s “show up 15 minutes early or you’re considered late” policy? Well, he never backed down from it and they won the Super Bowl that year. Oh yeah, the players sure loved Bowles. But it sure as hell doesn’t seem like they respected him too much.

Btw, the Jets list of candidates looks unique for lack of a better word lol ( everyone else does not want ) 4 other teams have requested an interview with Bieniemy. 2 others for Kris Richard. 2 for Monken. They aren’t flashy names like Harbaugh, Shanahan or even McCarthy, but I wouldn’t call any of these guys chump candidates.

I’m actually really intrigued by Monken.
Orchestrated the #1 passing offense in the league, and 3rd ranked offense overall, with a revolving door of Ryan Fitzpatrick and Jameis Winston at QB.
Also has past HC experience at Southern Miss where he turned the program around.
An interview sure as hell can’t hurt

It's also the Arizona Cardinals. I'm sure Darnold/NY is more appealing than Rosen/Arizona

^ they kiss his ass as he rides his training camp bicycle. He'll never go to NYC where Manish is trying to get his slender hand in a coach's pants.

1 SB with Rodgers is a travesty. I want nothing to do with McCarthy - his offense relied on two gunslingers ( Farve, AR) for all its 'creativity'.
And Caldwell?? He strikes me as an older Bowles. Pass.

Pass. Caldwell will forever be known for his brain fart TO against usin the playoffs. Manning’s expression is priceless.
