Interesting. Why do you say that? Bowels has more overall coaching experience. I remember when he was the interim HC in Miami, the players really responded to him and he seem to have a handle on all facets of the team. It appeared that offense, defense and special teams all played better after he took over going 2-1. There was a lot of players coming out saying they wanted him to be the next HC. He has been in the league longer and has dealt with more adversity then Quinn has. I have no problem with Quinn either. I dont think the Jets should let Bowels leave th facility if he goes to Atlanta we end up with Sean McD. Great answer!

Also, Bowles was very close to beating the Pats and going 3-0 during his time as interim HC in Miami. The guy can be a good HC if he is indeed the choice.

Oh baby! It's on. The Jets are about to make a Bowels movement! Forget the confetti....forget white smoke coming from a chimney at the Vatican....we will know we have a new Head Coach when reporters in Florham Park start hearing the toilets flushing in unison!

This is a great post as I have not read anything similar, thanks I have also awarded you with rep and a golden monocle, congratulations! Ha. I was about to do the same. I think I'm in the Todd B. camp now. My previous list was 1A. Quinn, 1B. Todd B., then Marrone at 4. (I don't have a 2 or 3. lolgfy!) But we can't wait potentially 3 more weeks for Quinn. If Todd hits his 2nd interview out of the park today I think we push the contract across the table and get a deal done now, today! I do think that Arizona did "more with less" than Seattle on defense this year. Quinn is a great coach and will be a HC within a month, but he certainly has had the ingredients with which to work. Arizona has talent on D as well, but nowhere near what Seattle has. I would sign my 1B. guy today rather than risk missing out on 1A. in 3 weeks. My opinion - At this point, it has to be stated that if the Jets do not get EITHER Todd B. or Quinn then they royally fucked up their Head Coaching move this offseason. Even though I'm a pretty solid Rex Ryan supporter, I'm onboard with making the change if we get a good shot at upgrading the HC spot with Quinn or Todd B. If we're calling back Marrone or Anthony Lynn to be the HC then letting Rex go has to be considered a very risky and potentially crippling move IMO.

Getting the feeling both are pretty even,Quinn slight edge ,but is he worth the wait and the risk? Think he doesn't leave.(Bowels)

I like Quinn but I don't think he's worth the wait, and more importantly the risk. If Bowles has a good interview today you lock down Florham Park and don't let him leave w/o an agreement.

I think you're right re: Bowles, if they love him and he crushes it today you can't let him leave. Plan B then becomes waiting for Quinn, and if you lose out on him Marrone is the fallback. Honestly I guess I'm ok with this, even though I think Marrone is a much better candidate than being given credit for, I do like what I've read of Bowles today though.
