Just speculating if Quinn is hired as HC. Not a lot of great FA QBs for us to get excited about and we probably won't have a shot at the top 2 QBs in the draft. Looking at the Seattle roster and they have BJ Daniels on their practice squad. Was a QB at South Florida and was very productive. Doesn't have the best measurables (listed as 5'11) but has been learning behind Wilson running an offense that *might* (again speculation) be similar to what we may run in 2015. If Quinn likes him, might he be worth bringing here to see what he can be? Pre-season stats: www.nfl.com/player/b.j.daniels/2541429/gamelogs?season=2013

BJ Daniels is terrible, I was shocked he was even drafted. No thanks.

oh brother. just what the jets need is another undersized qb. they should've kept taj boyd.
if the jets don't and mariota in the draft then they just need to chill and get someone in the 3rd or later round to ride the bench for a while. they can get someone in free agency or by trade who will be better than geno and he can ride the bench too. if tampa takes mariota or winston then maybe glennon will be on the block. not a bad choice. the point is there are guys who can get the job done. they just need to go get them.

Geno is still under contract. Sign a FA veteran, maybe even a Jake Locker, then draft Brett Hundley.
Allow the new OC and coaching staff to evaluate all 3 of those guys. I think each of them could still be a crapshoot and has a glimmer of franchise potential...but it's a long shot.
