A woman who was accused of urinating on potatoes in a Pennsylvania Walmart has turned herself in, authorities said.
The suspect, identified as Grace Brown, showed up at the West Mifflin Police station on Tuesday afternoon, according to a police report.
Cops were searching for Brown after her bizarre act was captured on video at the store in West Mifflin at around 10 p.m. on July 24.
The West Mifflin Police Department shared photos of the woman taken from surveillance video at the Walmart on social media in the hope that someone in the community would identify her.
An employee at the store noticed urine on the floor near a bin of potatoes last Wednesday and reported the disgusting discovery.
Police responded to a 'criminal mischief report' at around 8:40 a.m. last Thursday and later identified the woman captured on the surveillance footage as Brown, according to their report.
Officials made contact with her and she turned herself in at the station, 'where she identified herself as the person urinating on the potatoes'.
She was accompanied by her attorney.
The Allegheny County District Attorney's Office has recommended charges be brought against Brown, including open lewdness, disorderly conduct and public drunkenness, according to the statement.

How can they charge her with public drunkenness based on a video? Were they able to give her a field sobriety test based on the video? Pointless charge.

Anyhoo, I'm guessing "I was drunk" was her affirmative defense (wtf else could it have been) as her lawyer, the cops and the D.A. all know this is going away and getting sealed after she cleans parks for a week for community service. The embarrassment alone has got be ridic, even in West Mifflin Pa. |
