Not me... but good friend was on the American Flight that landed in the Hudson. It was to arrive in Charlotte so most of the people were Charlotteans. He tells the story.... well, you crap your pants first time you hear it. Imagine being on a flight and you hear.. Brace for a river landing. You gotta appreciate life after that! |

Car crash. One of those deals where you look at mangled wreck after and wonder how anyone survived.
Funny thing is the crash happened while 100% sober. It’s just dumb luck that I didn’t crash while drunk. I drove drunk so often. One of the biggest regrets of my life. I put so many other people at risk. Selfish and stupid. Wish I could say I was just a kid but it went into 30s. No excuses.

I played a game of the latest Madden on Xbox against my son yesterday. I’ve played probably 4 games of Madden in the last 20 years. So he took the Jets and I took Green Bay. Played the Super Bowl. Game tied, 10-10 with 3:40 to g in the 4th. I get the ball, march down field and score a TD with 43 seconds left. He gets the ball and has to go 80 yards for a TD to tie. Gets to about own 40,, and he completes a 3rd and 28 for first down. Two cracks at the end zone, nothing. Last play of the game, he tosses up a Hail Mary to the end zone. Falls incomplete. But flag on the play. Pass interference in the end zone. One more crack from the 1, no time left on the clock. Run the last play, I call all out blitz. Everybody comin, Jets pick up the rush, and Sam Darnold throws to a wide open no one. INcomplete. Typical Jets. Played another game. This time he’s the Jets and up 21-14 with 32 seconds to go in 4th quarter. He calls a short pass play. My guy rushes in, grabs Darnold and runs him backwards about 5 yards and strips the ball while running him backwards. Took the ball right out of Darnold hands. I score TD to tie 20 seconds Later. Typical Jets. he did redeem himself in OT though. Ran Bell on a sweep right all the way for like a 70 yard TD. I miss sports so much that this was exciting to read. |

After watching videos the stuff they brought up was lame. Looked it might be fun for 20 minutes, I need a hobby though. You are part Scottish. Find a local pipe band and learn the Highland pipes. common My brother did that in FL. Ex LEO and Fire. “Guns & Hoses” Maybe I could be a drummer. |

After watching videos the stuff they brought up was lame. Looked it might be fun for 20 minutes, I need a hobby though. scrap metaling is somewhat more lucrative than turning in empty cans but only if you hustle so i guess that's out Yeah, did you just call dropping a magnet on string into water, “hustling” ? Anyhoo I’m not in it for the big bucks. |
