The jets are not one piece of the puzzle away from a super bowl. Period. If you want to overpay for a used dildo on the downside of a career and be saddled with that contract for years, rock on. You say his shit stats are because of injuries and a shit O line. Guess what - that’s exactly what the jets have. So, overpay for a used dildo, on this jets team, and you’ve got wasted money on an average QB on a team that will jerk themselves at 8-8 for 5 years. No fucking thank you. I’d roll the dice on drafting a QB, spend that used dildo money on a FA RB and O line. For the record, the jets are already fucked. They totally blew it last year not drafting a RB and O line to set up a Roomie QB for this year and years to come. The Jets are going to have fucking OODLES of cap space. They can make Cousins the highest paid QB in the league, and then if they choose to do so, still go out and add Andrew Norwell and Ryan Jensen to the OL and a WR like Jarvis Landry or Allen Robinson and STILL have the available cap space to re-sign some of their own guys like Claiborne, Davis and ASJ. And then in addition to that, STILL have the 6th overall pick and two additional selections in the Top 50 alone. The Jets aren’t prohibited from improving the team by throwing the bank at Cousins. Far, FAR from it. That’s precisely the reason why they stand a good chance to land him. And how long does that house of cards hold together? We've been down this road before. Spend big and hope you catch lightning in a bottle. It never really works for us.

Allen holding it too long and sacked. _ Sounds like a future Jet to me.

If we signed Keenum the Vikes would have signed McCown and this thread would be titled, "Josh McCown another example why Mac should be fired."

Yeah, but our #6 pick is more valuable then both of Buffalo's 1st rounders combined. At best the Bills will pick at spots 21 and 22...if both the Bills and the Chiefs lose this weekend. Based on the trade value chart, the 6 pick is worth 1600 points, 21 is worth 800 and 22 is worth 780. So our #6 is technically worth more then Buffalo's 21 and 22. The discrepancy increases further if Buffalo or the Chiefs move on to the divisional round and their draft picks fall lower. This. Our combined draft pick value is fourth highest in the league. We have plenty of capital to move wherever we want. Just need to find a willing partner.

Wouldn't be surprised if the Giants go OL at the 2 spot. Boy would that shake things up.

K, I change my stance; there's no way in hell Mayfield makes it to us. Denver takes him at 5.
Get ready for Key/Allen/some other future scrub at 6.
Fuckin A.
