Agreed on Cravens. I'm hoping he makes it to our 2nd pick, but I doubt it. Also as much as I want to draft offense I feel like BPA will probably be defensive the first 2 round if not 3. If you are looking for a mid round guy that could fit that Bucannon role look at Jayron Kearse from my alma mater. With his size and speed and willingness to hit people, he could develop into that hybrid role. Or, you could draft Darron Lee in the first and you could have a real 3 down ILB. I am very intrigued by Darron Lee. Could play inside in the 3-4 and shift outside on passing downs. He would be a real asset in coverage and add some speed in the pass-rush. However, after his combine, he might not make it to #20.

well that's done. Sure hope his leg heals. I hope we trade him Pick up an extra 1st and clear up $16 million in cap space. That would give us the ammo to move up for one of the top QB's if we wish, plenty of money to re-sign Snacks in addition to adding a starting OL and passrusher, etc. It's been said before, we have too many DL with the same skillset. I like Mo, but a lot of good could come from trading him. Indeed. Although this would be a whole lot simpler if Sheldon wasn't on a path of career self-destruction. Mo would probably have been dealt before now if the more dynamic Richardson didn't keep messing up and risking suspension.

We might as well draft him in the 2nd. Our 2nd rounders invariably suck, so no harm picking him there.

Personal fave - Darron Lee. A little undersized, but a tough SOB with sideline to sideline range, coverage skills and pass-rush ability. Could be a versatile movable chess-piece for a creative coaching staff, lining up inside or outside, covering or rushing as the situation dictates.
Do not touch - Ragland. A less explosive version of David Harris. I see nothing special in him at all. Simply a competent, 2 down ILB with limited speed who will struggle to live up to his likely 1st round status in the pros.

Sounds positive. They are talking, he wants to stay, and it doesn't sound like he is going to ask for the moon.
Hopefully, this gets done before FA begins.
Snacks is my personal #1 priority to be retained.

No one told the puppies that cheating was against the rules, therefore they are innocent.

Peyton's results are good but boy are his throws wobbly Makes Fitz's arm look like a howitzer in comparison.

Great play by Miller.
That non-catch ruling on the catch was a killer.

Cotch doesn't drop the ball. That was a catch.

Damn BBC coverage has the NFL International feed. Analysis so bad I am actually missing Nantz and Simms.
Well, almost.

Carolina 31, Denver 27.
Cotchery with 2 TD receptions, including the game winner in the 4th quarter.

Definitely worth taking a shot on this kid. If he can return kicks and chip in with the occasional play from scrimmage, then it's a good signing.
