Also, I rewatched the TEs work out. Of course I did
....G Everett is the most natural receiver I've seen at TE. He catches the ball with his hands almost flawlessly.

The athleticism of this DB class is insane. If we sign either jefferson/Bouye in FA and draft two DBs, the secondary could be set for the next several years. As far as TEs,DBs and RBs, this is the best draft I have ever seen as a draft nerd

The BYU back? wasn't crazy about him. Didn't see anything that popped. Him, the Wyoming back Hill, and Perine strike me as future backups/#2s in the long run. Understandable. He's not crazy athletic, but for me he keeps his legs churning and is great in tight spaces. He could get changed in a phone booth. I also think he has good balance and rolls off tacklers well. He might not be a true #1 but I think he can be a #1b that can handle 30 carries a game if you need him to. I've been trying draw a line in the sand on who I like and don't. It's not a knock on Williams per say - but with so much talent, I feel compelled to decide who to get behind. Who do I like? Cook (why can he not be a gangster?) Fournette Hunt A. Jones D. Smith For the right price:Mixon CMac Gallman No thanks:Kamara Foreman S. Perine

I'm finally finishing up watching the RB's and I'm a huge fan of Hunt even with the slower time. There is a lot to like about his game. There's a lot about his game between the tackles and in open space that reminds me of David Johnson. What do you two think about Jamaal Williams? They'll probably both be available in the 3rd round. The BYU back? wasn't crazy about him. Didn't see anything that popped. Him, the Wyoming back Hill, and Perine strike me as future backups/#2s in the long run.

Maybe Kareem Hunt running 4.6 drops him to the top of the 3rd. Would be happy to have him there. I'm finally finishing up watching the RB's and I'm a huge fan of Hunt even with the slower time. Kizer looked like hot garbage today, on a separate note. Few WRs did anything I felt compelled to remember. Pretty much everyone looked like shit outside of positions expected to test well.
It only reinforces where the strength of this draft class is. Use FA to address some of the holes, but leave the secondary/TE/RB to draft picks.

The tight ends are killing it. I knew Bucky Hodges was a great athlete, but I didn't expect him to edge out Njoku. TE Verticals Evan Engram 36 OJ Howard 30 David Njoku 37.5 Adam Shaheen 32.5 Bucky Hodges 39 Jonnu Smith 38 Jordan Leggett 33 TE Broad Jumps Evan Engram 125 Bucky Hodges 134 George Kittle 132 David Njoku 133 OJ Howard 121 Gerald Everett 126 A.Shaheen 121 Leggett 114 No BS, Hodges has Jimmy Graham vibe. I know it's been a popular comp for Howard, but Hodges might be the one. I need to watch more specifically relating to ability as a natural receiver and how he catches in traffic before i go full homo.

The longer this combine/offseason goes, the more it just feels like in 5 years, it'll be a forgettable class with half a dozen memorable players.

Sure. While right now I like Darnold best, the 2018 draft could have 4 potential franchise QB's with Rosen, Falk, and Josh Allen. I'll be rooting for all 4 to have great seasons this year. 100%. I really like Falk but I'm watching every game of each of these guys that I can catch. It's like the year Teddy and Carr we're coming out and the next year with Marcus and Winston. _ I agree with all you guys. I hate pulling the "next year's QB class is better" card, cause anything can happen -- but it's so bloody clear this go around. Darnold has the makings of something special, Rosen & Allen have all the tools, and there's something about Falk that has me tickled pink. This year is all about rebranding this team.

I could give a crap about all these veteran house cleaning. Good riddance. We thank you for your time (honestly, i mean that) but this team needs to go in a different direction. Marshall hurts, not gonna lie, we haven't have that kind of intensity on offense since Edwards -- but fugg it. It's new blood or no blood.

i think any option involving money being invested into "mystery men" is a bullshit direction for this franchise. Sign that asshole Josh McCown and be done with it. Hack has to prove something or we gotta start circling the 2018 wagons on the 2-3 franchise QBs that are coming out.

Get it done Mac. We suck at drafting in later rounds so just do this. They're desperate for defense. Marshall isn't lasting. Decker can't last a full season. Time for some speed on this offense. no...

Oh yea, Kamara's numbers looked unsurprisingly average at best. I really think that guy is... average at best.

My ability to follow this year has been hampured (pun?) with problems at home, so excuse me if some of this is dated or inaccurate.
early thoughts?
--Disappointed in Cook. The guys is doing everything slowly bleed out the excitement he came into the offseason with. 4.5 dalvin? really? --Fournette's time is uber-impressive. But his weight and shit. poor vertical.. that might not end up meaning anything on the field, but I wish his blue-chipness was less complicated. He's not perfect and I wish he was.
--Aaron Jones ran a 4.50 flat. Dont' sleep on him, i love what i've seen. I liked what i've heard about Hunt & Smith thus far. strengthens my feelings on them. Don't care that Mike Williams is waiting. Eager to see Jerome Lane's testing. Lamp is a hog.
--Hodges and Njoku are freaks man. This TE class is legendary.
