That pie looks amazing. I haven't had a home made cherry pie since my grandmother passed away. Just immediate family and my 80 ish neighbor that farts on my couch. Every Thanksgiving and Christmas. We start eating at two. Got a 20lb bird this year plus Italian ao I'm good for leftovers for awhile. |

we had the long staredown with all the L.I. relatives this year, no one flinched and said they'd take the ferry across the sound, so it's just me and the missus and the doggie and shakin jr. II (shakin jr. I is going to his gf's on LI)

In laws up from Florida. Usual shitshow with them. Sister in law real sick from chemo, sad. Four dogs here. Son in law smoking a bird. Daughter pregnant. Wife on edge...
These are the days I could use a drink.
Not exactly a Rockwell painting but could be worse I guess.
