I was gonna complain about hosting yet again this year, and tell the wife not doing it next year, then I read your post and figured I don’t really have much to complain about. Godspeed, FFdoots. LOL. I didn’t mean it to sound so bad. I do like boring average days over holidays though. Wife gets all stressed out for these. Wants everything perfect. Which it never will be. |

I was gonna complain about hosting yet again this year, and tell the wife not doing it next year, then I read your post and figured I don’t really have much to complain about. Godspeed, FFdoots. LOL. I didn’t mean it to sound so bad. I do like boring average days over holidays though. Wife gets all stressed out for these. Wants everything perfect. Which it never will be. Every wife - “hey! Let’s host thanksgiving! It will be great!” and then the reality hits of cooking and people coming over, which leads to yelling and such. they never learn. |

It will be great!” and then the reality hits of cooking and people coming over, which leads to yelling and such. they never learn. nope, not mrs. shakin. she never wants to host anything. and half the time on the morning of travelling somewhere, she'll take one for the team (me) and tell everyone she woke up really sick and we're not coming. then we get hammered on captain morgans and eggnog and watch march of the wooden soldiers and shit like that in front of the fire. then a little somethin somethin and shakin falls asleep happy. |

My MIL is a great Turkey Day football fan. We haven't missed a play, yet. Plus since she's lesbo, she rips burps and pisses my wife off, which is breathtaking. Happy Thanksgiving!

There really is no white picket fence anymore. friend of mine volunteers for meals on wheels and he tells very stunning stories of houses, all lights off, he drops off a meal in a box on the door step. the door opens quickly and then the meal is gone. more common than we would think and obviously sad.... Happy Thanksgiving. we are all doing what we can. oh yeah... Brady is gay. 🤣 |

Mrs Bing Cooked Hosted and cleaned.
Had 15 for Dinner. I helped as well.
Was perfect.
Last Guest just left, imma smoke up and just watch football.
Was actually a perfect day.

That pie looks amazing. I haven't had a home made cherry pie since my grandmother passed away. Just immediate family and my 80 ish neighbor that farts on my couch. Every Thanksgiving and Christmas. We start eating at two. Got a 20lb bird this year plus Italian ao I'm good for leftovers for awhile. No extra turkey secret feast this time? They found out last time and you just hosted it twice huh |
