He is entitled to his opinions although I believe if he truly cared about fixing any of those issues he would engage and not let personal feelings get in the way. But today isnt about any of this stuff. There are children who lost their father and millions of people who lost someone they looked up to. And yes tragedies happen all the time and his life is not more valuable than anyone elses but he meant a lot to a lot of people and thats just how it works.

I’m certainly no fan of MSNBC and enjoy seeing them look like fools. The reporter said that she started to say Knicks and fumbled the rest of it.
So with a lot of skepticism, I actually listened to it with headphones on and as far-fetched as it sounds I think she might actually be telling the truth. If you listen with headphones it does not sound like she said the n-word.
I’m sure they could confirm that one way or another with better listening devices that I had.

She's a chick trying to talk about Sports in a big moment. Of course all the hand-wringers who want to hear the N word (because its only natural for a racist to reveal themselves on a national platform with their job/future on the line) will keep hearing it. And to be honest, I dont buy into the proprietary nature of the word here in 2020 when it probably used 20 times every day in every NBA lockeroom by players themselves. I dont use it, I dont believe ANYONE should be throwing it around because of the terrible history it represents, but considering some of the latent blatant racism by huge lying smiling hypocrites in this country is ignored as everyone tilts at bad Orangeman windmills, I'm certainly not going to join this virtue-signaling faux-mob. Go see how the average 12 year old boy living in Democratic ghettos in Chicago, Detroit and Baltimore is living compared to 20, 30 years ago. NOTHING has changed. Who are the real racists? Please.

I had originally heard that the helicopter had mechanical problem. Now I read that there was dense fog & the pilot was flying around for 15 minutes, waiting for clearance to land at Burbank airport.
Now it sounds like a total screw up by the pilot. Normally that helicopter has 2 pilots but this flight only had one. And he was apparently flying on visual flight & not using instruments.
He was warned twice that he was flying too low. The crash has been described as a CFIT, which is a controlled flight into terrain.
The helicopter flew nose first into the mountainside @ 185 MPH.

Kinda early for your daily rant, no? You must have a busy day planned. I get it, you have an opinion.. and I rant. On a campus you would be swatting signs, knocking hats off and shutting down rallies because views that dont align with yours are abhorrent and must be stopped. Here's an idea, instead of mocking me, tell us if you think this woman (who works for a network I have little respect for) is a racist who must be fired/punished, fed to the mob. I'm truly interested in your opinion and would entertain your thoughts seriously. I'm guessing..."Calm down shemp" pops into your brain instead. We've danced before.

I saw the same. Also saw that LAPD had grounded all of their Helicopters the same morning. (He should have known this?) I know it doesnt take much for the NYPD to ground theirs. Its possible he felt pressure not to let clients down and he thought his ability would carry him through adverse conditions. Just so sad, such a waste. And those poor kids on board. Jeez.

If you’re waiting for clearance to land, you don’t fly at 185mph if you’re a helicopter.

This is a really odd one. I have watched it a couple dozen times and I was convinced she said the n word and then I was convinced she said naykers. This might be one of those yanny or laurel things.
