Paul Sperry (@paulsperry_) Tweeted: Here's the actual text of MPD manual Chauvin followed in trying to subdue Floyd by, as advised, "compressing one or both sides of a person's neck w arm or leg" if suspect is "exhibiting active resistance." So what happens when he's acquitted? Will jurors & judge be called racist? I am not an expert in this area, but it seems plausible in this instance that the suspect was not exhibiting active resistance. Floyd had fentanyl and meth in his system. Chauvin's defense team will certainly use that.

Bad Cops love to scream stop resisting while they fuck you the fuck up. It's well documented on a regular basis

If it is so well documented it should not be difficult to find. Stats, not just a single case here and there but overall stats to support this narrative. I am 57, I have 4 brothers and roughly 15 cousins. Not to mention dozens of friends. None have ever told a story of a bad police interaction, other then being pissed about a speeding ticket. I am not saying this never happens, but I surely do not think you can produce the evidenced to support systemic issues you routinely talk about.
Not an attack at all. Just curious.

Which is why we need the levels which will provide context. I hate that I always have to preface any opinion of weakness in the case I have with "I think the cop is guilty" but this stuff is going to be relevant at the trial. And they got Keith Ellison running the show. Hes a buffoon. And the stakes are raised now bc they want the other 3 cops in jail as well. Outside of the guy who had his knees on Floyds lower back I just dont see any of them going to jail. And that will be cause for more riots.

So sad. This guy is compiling list of people who have been killed since demonstrations started. If you click on the thread you will find it with their pictures.

I’m sure this is nothing compared to being a black male, but I and my friends were routinely harassed by the police in my town when in high school and beyond. Our crimes apparently were long hair and a leather jacket. We were often harassed while at public parks, on the street, or driving by a police officer at night. Searched for no reason. I was literally thrown against the hood of a car and searched because I didn’t move to the hood quick enough for the officer.

Also had some positive interactions. Never wanted to do it, graduated college during a stock market crash, took all the city tests. I had to walk in their shoes to un-learn alot of stuff I thought I knew for fact. (if that makes sense). Not bashing those who dont understand other than asking them to keep an open mind, be fair and dont nec. believe the false narrative bullsh*t the mainstream media spews out. Remember as well..the whole racial aspect of this (to this point) has been based merely on the color of the skin of those involved...period. It is implicitly assumed without any supporting evidence, a standard that would be unacceptable if roles were reversed.
