Hard for a goalie to play great and still give up 4 goals, but Varlamov did that tonight. Bruins could have had 4 in the 3rd period alone. We locked it down after they got it to 1, but from the time Nelson put us up 3 until they cut it to 1, they were just peppering Varlamov. that marchand pastrnak bergeron line is fucking sick if varly doesn't play HUGE we lose by 3 goals after putting up 5 ourselves close to 50 shots gtfo lolol Until we played them 8 ties this season, I did not realize how good Marchand is. He is an instigator, draws penalties, gets under your skin, but that guy has a lot of skill. I knew Bergeron and Pasternak were studs, but Marchand is so much better than I thought. |

We should have lost that game but Varly made some huge saves when he had to. I agree that it's hard to look good giving up four goals but we were dominated tonight. I hope he pulls Dobson next game.....he's been beyond horrible this entire playoff series. I knew that Nelson goal was going to big the way we were playing all night. LGI!!!! We are going to have to be much better Wednesday night. Varly came up big to hep protect the lead and 3 PP goals gave us just enough of a margin for error to hod on and survive. This series is still a long way from over. We really need to close this thing out on Wednesday. Do not want to have to go back into Boston where they have that last line change. |

I've been watching the Bruins for awhile now and they still play the same style of game that they did a decade ago. It's why I was so excited when we landed Boychuk. I hate to admit it but Boston is my second favorite team in the league because of the way they play the game. They can still go fuck off this year. |

I hope he pulls Dobson next game.....he's been beyond horrible this entire playoff series. Problem is, who do you go to in his place. Cobern has only played 3 games in the system. And Hickey has not played in over two months. NO good options for that 6th d-man spot. |

When you take a penalty, it is your team's job to kill it, something they only did once out of 4 chances. Nobody seem to ever want to give the Isles credit. |
