My biggest concern is who is in the pipeline to fill that need. When we went down a Dman this year we were playing fucking Hickey and I'm sure all of you know how I feel about him. I'm still confident in Lou but trading Toews hurts even more now with the loss of Leddy. It's not easy to find a smooth skating Dman in free agency that doesn't cost a max contract. I don't follow the youngsters as much as I used to....do you know of someone already in the organization that could fill that roll? Also Big L All I’ve read is Aho and Bolduc I know nothing of Bolduc although it should be clear that Aho is not the answer. |

You still interested in tryng to meet for an Isles/Jets weekend. Looking at the schedules, Isles have the Devils at home on Saturday Dec 11th and the Jets host the Saints on Sunday the 12th. I can't commit just yet because of aging family members but I'm definitely not taking in another Jets game or anything NFL related. I still have your number and I'll let you know as we move closer. If it was my call I'd be 100% going to an Isles game. No worries. Plenty of time to figure it out as we get closer. |

I'll be back in FL for a few days in November so I'm thinking if I do an Isles game this year it will be later in the season. Probably get my brother to fly out also. |
