Well, that was a great opening day. Coming off the shutout, I would guess Varlamov goes again on Saturday. May be a few days before Sorokin's debut.

Props to Noah Dobson, played a great game looks like he belongs. Played over 20 minutes. Makes the loss of Toews much easier to deal with

Varlamov is expected be clear #1 to start the season. |

I know he's the #1 and he deserves the next game, I'm just not sure it's a slamdunk and even tonight they said Trotz is looking for a 60/40 rotation. Maybe Varlamov throws him a bone since they're so close. I'm just antsy to finally see Bigfoot finally play a game after all of these years. |
