Was listening to our local AM station do a "memorial" for RUSH. They spoke of how the 12-3 slot was a basic AM couple doing music etc. When RUSH came in in April 1991, they stated the ad rates almost doubled in less than 3 months and they had to add sales people to cover all the interest. He truly generated revenue. He was a rising tide. Even for his opponents. Sound familiar? |
