merry new years all so my 21 year old son has to get the jab. don't even get me fucking started. seriously. but he has to because he's doing his union apprenticeship in NYC for 2 years. eric adams said he will not lift diblasio's mandate (so looks like NYC has itself another tyrannical fuckstick at the helm) i do not want my kid anywhere near the mRNA shit so my question is for jetworks or anyone else knowledgeable: is the J&J worse in any way than the mRNA stuff? also, if you could be a bit more descriptive on aspirating during injection i would really appreciate it thanks From what I've read, the J&J follows the traditional vaccine route as opposed to the mRNA vaccines which deliver "codes" to cells..So its more akin to a flu shot. I've had the booster in addition to the original (in March) and I'm fine. I've flown many times/been in large crowds/dined out/in/gone to gym unmasked 4 times a week/ lived a normal life. (no covid..yet). And yes, they checked my I.D. (had it done in a pharmacy both times) you did the j&j?

We're at the point where the CDC is not recommending getting the J+J vax because of adverse events. they want everyone getting the mRNA I agree but there have been some bad outcomes with J+J especially around blood clotting and also with younger people. It would be nice if we could see numbers of adverse events sorted by age group and vax status to present a clearer picture but that will never happen even though over 200 million Americans are so called vaccinated.

I dont trust the CDC, dont trust their data or motive$. I had no problem with J&J, nor did wifne. I can only speak for me. I certainly wouldnt blame anyone else for being apprehensive though. I thought the risk of "adverse events" outweighed the unknowns of an mRNA technology with virtually no track record. Personal choice, I'm gonna be 59 soon.

I don't trust the CDC either but I also don't trust big pharma. You made an informed decision and weighed your options like every person should be able to do without repercussions of being banished out of society. My elderly mother wanted the vax and the booster and I think it's a good decision for someone that age, but we're talking about a 21 yo.

I've had many Flu vaccines and the J&J are made the same way (from what I understand). Never had a problem with either. The mRNA scares the shit out of me waaay more than the risks of J&J. I can only give Shakin my own experience.

We're at a point right now that this is a problem with the vaxxed not the unvaxxed. Look no further than what just happened with the NHL, NFL, NBA, and every neighborhood around you. I wonder what this thread will look like one year from now.

I've been against the vax because I got c19 in April 2020 (and believe natural immunity lasts forever), but was finally pushed to "get it or you're fired." My second Moderna jab is set for 1/20.
What is the story with mRna? Can anyone point me towards why it's apparently so fucked up?

The Johnsons have done such a great job with the Jets what could go wrong? Seriously I got J&J because it’s one and done and wanted the least amount of vaccine in me and still be consider3d “fully vaxed”

There are adverse reactions to everything

He is now C19 positive again. He was/is symptomatic both times.
