Question for the hampsters
So in France we have free health care and the gvt is giving out free vax for everyone. Should there be consequences if you choose to not take it in your opinion (minus those who have developped natural immunity after catching it)?
Ex: Should those people have to pay if they end up in ICU for a month?
I'm on the fence because it goes against my belief system, but at the same time free health care isn't free, everyone's paying for it. So if we can agree that the vax will most likely help you avoid ICU for a month, should these people get a pass?

It’s all about risk and your tolerance for it, I’d say. Get the vax and really lower your risk of contracting the virus and any of its potential side effects, or roll the dice that your particular body make up is able to fight it off with no side effects. I know otherwise healthy unvaccinated people who got COVID and just had a ‘weird’ flu type experience for two weeks, and other who was going to go to the hospital in the morning if it didn’t get any better because he couldn’t breathe. Also his wife had it in January and she still can’t taste anything. Apparently it affects some people and not others. This is how I rationalize the vaccine now. When I first took it, I thought it was a vaccine. Now I view it as a therapeutic that I was able to take in advance. So, in reality it didnt end up being what we were originally sold but it is still a lot better than having nothing. I will not judge anyone for not taking the vaccine. I think gubmint mandates are a road to hell. "For your own good". Go read a history book about that. Never thought I would see so many willingly buy-in but I think its a generational thing. what about seat belts? Mandated for your own good…

One we know is safe, helps save lives, and causes zero adverse effects. The other is an experimental drug that is injected into your body and has a host of side effects up to and including death. It has no known long term track record and its efficacy seems to plummet by the day. I posted this over in the politics section....give it a watch.

How many dialysis machines are being used for drunkards? My personal view is yes, I would love to hold people accountable. But I dont like giving government that power. So I will err on the side of letting those who I think make bad decisions use up resources. Society has always carried the dead weight.

Seat belts don't have zero adverse effects, they have fewer side effect than not wearing one in most cases. Which is why air bags were invented. Seat belts in rare cases can cause worse injury or even death. The question I have with a vaccine in this scenario is do people that don't get the vaccine have to pay for all the people who are having breakthrough cases or adverse side effect such as myocardia? See how the game could be played? PS Raoul Duke Your health care isn't FREE you pay for it indirectly via taxes, give up all of your possible choices and hand control to the government for your health decisions such as people wanting to not cover certain conditions for certain people/cases. Very slippery slope.

Should we not care about people driving around on highways and sidestreets with their heads buried in their phones..because it could be a pretext to "searching for drugs"?

Very slippery slope. You can't compare seatbelts to a vaccine. Last I checked wearing a seatbelt never caused heart inflammation, blood clots, bells palsy, paralysis, etc. And who knows what it can cause down the road long term. Completely apples and oranges, one is a medical treatment, the other is well....a seatbelt. As to your question I'm not really getting what you mean by who has to pay. Hospitals and doctors have to treat anybody that is sick, they don't get to pick and choose. Do hospitals turn away obese people because they caused their own poor health, or should they not treat a criminal who gets shot in the act of committing a crime? If people end up getting myocarditis or any other ailment that's on them for getting an experimental jab in the first place.

The should they treat was in answer to Raoul's comment about state healthcare and should the system treat those who are unvaxed. I was playing devils advocate to his question regarding the heard having to pay to treat people who don't get the jab. The point is it can be thrown from both sides which is why I don't want the government making my medical decisions for me in the first place. As for it "being on people who chose the jab" sometimes they have to because of government force or corporate coercion.

Mandated to give cops excuse to search for drugs. Er. Have you ever seen someone ejected from a vehicle..and how easy it is for that to happen? Should we not care about people driving around on highways and sidestreets with their heads buried in their phones..because it could be a pretext to "searching for drugs"? No. And I sympathize for those who have to scrape them off the pavement. But the odds of their stupid decision hurting an innocent bystander is low. The morons who have their heads buried in phones are putting other lives at risk. I hope they get pulled over and cavity searched bc fuck them.

I think he means when the seatbelt law was introduced (at least here in Mass) they promised it was always going to be a secondary offense. You couldn't get pulled over for it. Now it's a primary offense. The old "your twilight is out" worked good enough!

Pretty blown away at the number of ppl here who not only trust, but think its remotely ok for them to mandate this shit, while absolutely ignoring natural immunity.
Have you folks SEEN what they're doin in Australia?! And everywhere else?!
It doesn't matter anyways really tho... its too late. "The West" has fallen and is being dismantled and prepared for absolute carnage. Part of the "reset" Trust the plan and all that
